Raw Pulp over Processed Juice: Don’t Be Deceived by the False Promises of Noni Juice

When something seems too easy, that’s because it probably is. Noni juice is a perfect example of something powerful being diminished by too many shortcuts.

In its raw, natural form, noni fruit is a potent superfood. Here are just a few of the benefits of regular Noni consumption and regular topical application.

  • Supports a healthy response to inflammation
  • Soothes irritated skin and promotes skin clarity
  • Boosts the immune system
  • High in soluble fiber
  • High levels of antioxidants, enzymes, and other beneficial compounds

Noni isn’t a “miracle,” but it can promote overall good health in the body by providing powerful compounds that maintain wellness and help you work toward better health. There are over 165 compounds in raw noni fruit that help support a healthier body. Noni was traditionally eaten raw, freshly picked from the tree – it has been a traditional part of the Hawaiian and Polynesian diet for centuries.

The problem with Noni juice is, it isn’t raw!

It’s difficult to keep noni fruit fresh – in fact, it ferments within 2-5 days after it is picked. This makes it challenging to spread the benefits of noni across the country and around the world. Unfortunately, the way many people choose to meet this challenge is by turning noni into juice.

Noni juice cannot offer the same health benefits as raw noni.  Here’s why:

The fruit is fermented

Once the fruit is picked, the fruit quickly ripens and rapidly begins to naturally ferment within 6 hours of ripening. Fermentation produces alcohol within the fruit itself, which destroys 50% of all those beneficial compounds and enzymes in the pulp. This is unavoidable with any process except our unique low-heat dehydration of fresh fruit.

The juice is pasteurized

The process of pasteurization is supposed to keep the juice fresher by briefly subjecting it to very intense heat. It works by killing digestive enzymes in the raw fruit. The problem is, those very enzymes provide powerful benefits to the human body. And even after pasteurization, the juice still requires refrigeration!  Noni fruit must be processed before it ferments, with low, indirect heat, to keep those enzymes intact. Our method creates a product that stays fresh for two years, with no refrigeration, and without damaging the vital enzymes.

Noni juice is diluted

When the noni fruit is allowed to ferment, it acquires a very unpleasant taste. To mask this, most juice companies add other fruit juices or sugar to the mix to give it a sweeter taste. This is a problem with all juices, not just noni. Health experts agree that consuming raw fruit is always healthier than juice. We use 100% organic, undiluted noni pulp, with no additives at all.

Noni fruit is a delicate yet powerful superfood, requiring very specific processing methods to retain its essential health benefits.  At Hawaiian Organic Noni, we are committed to providing a product that is as close as you can get to eating noni straight from the tree. That means carefully protecting all the fragile compounds that are so easily destroyed by improper processing.

On its journey from our organic soil to your home, we take care of our noni fruit every step of the way. We love noni, and we want everyone to understand its amazing health benefits. If you are drinking noni juice, hoping to get those beneficial compounds and antioxidants, it’s time for a change. Experts agree: Do your body a favor and ditch the juice.

Raw, organic noni has numerous benefits, and we’re committed to delivering it to you.

There were no roads, electricity, water or buildings but lots of Noni trees (Morinda Citrifolia) in our valley. We also developed a deep relationship with Noni that was growing all through our valley.  Today we run our Hawaiian Organic Noni farm, and share the gift of health with people throughout the world.
