This month is Stay Healthy with Noni Month or “Give the Gift of Health” Month so bring on the Noni!
The true traditional use of Noni by Polynesians and Hawaiians for thousands of years was to eat the raw fruit not drink the fermented juice. As raw food, Noni feeds the cells of the body to maintain good health, wellness and energy. As the old saying goes. “You are what you eat”.
Research has identified over 165 beneficial compounds in the raw pulp of Noni. The only “problem” with Noni is that the raw fruit has a very short shelf life of 4-6 hours once the fruit ripens and then the fruit naturally begins to rot, decay and ferment. Fermentation creates alcohol that destroys the beneficial enzymes in the raw pulp and changes the chemical profile of the beneficial compounds. Fermentation destroys the potency of the raw fruit.
It is all about the potency and receiving the maximum benefit from Noni. On our 70 acre certified organic family farm, we have total control over every aspect of the growing, picking and processing of our Noni. It took us many years to develop the equipment to low heat dehydrate (below 115 F) using only non-fermented Noni to maintain the potency of the raw pulp. Our Noni Fruit Leather is raw food to feed the cells of the body to maintain good health. Independent laboratory tests have shown our Noni Fruit Leather to be 14 times more potent than fermented Noni juice.
We just returned from a “black Friday” weekend trade show in Honolulu. During the three day event, we apply the IcyHeat Noni lotion to hundreds of people. It is a real joy to watch everyone’s amazement as their neck, shoulder, arm, back, leg or foot pain goes away. The real reward for us at the show is the positive feedback and stories that we receive from folks that have been using our organic Noni products for years. “I take the Noni Fruit Leather every day and I have perfect health” or “I use your Noni lotions and my pain is gone” or “I feed the Noni Fruit Leather every day to my dog and cat – perfect health!”
Have a great Holiday Season and perhaps give the “Gift of Health” by sharing our Noni with a friend
