Why Vets and Pets alike Love Noni

We all love our pets. All animals can bring so much love, joy and companionship into our daily lives. On our family farm, my kids grew up with great dogs and cats as their best friends. When we first moved to Kauai in 1982, we brought our white beagle/terrier mix named Sherlock. Sherlock loved eating fruits and vegetables!! Over the years, we had Woofie and Nala both local poi (mix breeds) that were great friends to our kids. Currently, the King and Queen of the Farm is Bhakti (Australian Shepard mix) the King and Bindi (pure Beagle) the Queen. All of our animals have grown up eating Noni Fruit Leather as part of their daily diet and I have also watched them eat raw noni fruit on the ground. Animals know intuitively what is good for their health.

Many years ago, I met a local Veterinarian, Dr. Ihor Basko, who belongs to the American Holistic Veterinarian Association, an organization with over 600 licensed Vets that focus on holistic pet care in their approach to helping animals. For many years, I attended their annual convention and had the privilege to meet these dedicated healers. I learned from many of them, new uses of our organic Noni products internally and externally for dogs, cats and horses.

My sister, Ann in Bowie, Texas, has a 40 acre ranch with many, many animals. Her passion is horses and dogs. She uses our organic Noni products for everything – as a preventative or to address a new problem. As many of you may know, horses can have many health issues. Ann has learned from experience that Noni Fruit Leather, Noni Lavender lotion or the Noni BioBandage promote natural healing, good health and energy.

If you are ever able to attend our Organic Noni Farm and Wellness Tour, you will see the wild animals (birds and chickens), eating noni off the ground in the orchards. They know it is raw food that is good for them!! Hope you have the time to read the following two articles from Veterinarians expressing their personal experiences using our Noni in their private practice on animals.

Veterinarians who work with both small and large animals have agreed—Noni is powerful for healing!

“I think Noni is a very useful, very safe, very broad acting supplement,” says Dr. Joyce Harman of Virginia, who has been practicing holistic pet care, primarily on horses, since 1991.

Veterinarians particularly love Noni as a topical treatment, because it’s safe if pets lick some off. Priscilla Dressen, another veterinarian, shared this story: “I just cared for a dog that was wearing a cone for a year, after many veterinarians unsuccessfully treated his allergies with steroids and antibiotics. Once I put the Noni on the skin irritation, the dog stopped licking right away! And if animals do lick the Noni, I know it won’t harm them, whereas if they lick a triple antibiotic or burn cream they will take in poisonous medication.”

You can get more of Dr. Harman and Priscilla’s perspectives in this article.

Another veterinarian, Dr. Adrienne Moore, who works with both large and small animals. “I have found Noni lotion to be more effective than any of the other concoctions used by my clients,” she says. “I recently had a case that almost completely resolved after using Noni lotion for just three days.”

You can learn more about how Dr. Adrienne Moore uses Noni for horses, dogs, and cats in this article.

About the Author: Steve Frailey

My wife and I (Steve Frailey) moved to Kauai, Hawaii in 1982 from our organic farm in California. There were no roads, electricity, water or buildings but lots of Noni trees (Morinda Citrifolia) in our valley. We also developed a deep relationship with Noni that was growing all through our valley.  Today we run our Hawaiian Organic Noni farm, and share the gift of health with people throughout the world.
