Holistic Pet Care Using Noni Products

Aloha,
This October we’re celebrating Pet Month! Be sure to give your animal friends lots of love, kindness and Noni. My daughter, Lola, was jogging on the farm and took this photo of Bhakti, our Australian Shepard mix. As you can see, Bhakti is King of the Farm, and he knows it. Lola jogs and he sits and watches!!

Being King of the Farm is hard work, but Bhakti has been in incredible health his entire life. He is a walking, running, bouncing testimonial for Noni as he approaches 12 years old.

He is the highlight of every Farm Tour as he comes bounding over to visit the group and show off how he eats Noni Fruit Leather. He jumps from person to person, sniffing and smelling, until I pull out the bag of Noni Fruit Leather out of my back pocket. Then he’s all attention! He immediately comes over to me and sits down, looking very intently at the bag of Noni. Everyone on the Tour is always amazed at his focus and how much he loves eating Noni Fruit Leather.

Bhakti has been taking Noni since he was young, and he loves it!

Check out the Video of the Month of Bhakti eating his Noni

Here are just a couple of reasons why your pets will love Noni too

  • Noni boosts energy and the immune system
  • It relieves pain and inflammation
  • Noni also helps support healthy digestion
  • Give your pets the gift of natural healing, good health and energy with Noni!

The Ethnobotanists at the University of Hawaii don’t believe Polynesians discovered that Noni fruit was edible right away. After all, it has a pretty potent smell! According to the Ethnobotanists, they first used Noni fruit topically for skin irritations. It was only after observing animals (birds, pigs, dogs, etc.) eating noni fruit and enjoying such good health that the early Polynesians discovered the benefits of eating the raw noni fruit.

Veterinarians point out that animals intuitively known what is good for them. Ever notice how a dog will go eat grass when it needs to throw up and remove something from its stomach?

Here on the farm, you will see many types of animals, including birds, wild chickens, wild pigs - and of course Bhakti - out in the orchards eating fresh, ripe un-fermented Noni fruit. It is raw food that keeps them healthy, and they know it!

Veterinarians Using Noni Products
Veterinarians who work with both small and large animals have agreed—Noni fruit is powerful for healing!

“I think Noni fruit leather is a very useful, very safe, very broad acting supplement,” says Dr. Joyce Harman of Virginia, who has been practicing holistic veterinary care, primarily on horses, since 1991.

Veterinarians particularly love Noni products as for its topical benefits, because it’s safe if pets lick some off. Priscilla Dressen, another veterinarian, shared this story: “I just cared for a dog that was wearing a cone for a year, after many veterinarians unsuccessfully treated his allergies with steroids and antibiotics. Once I put the Noni Lotion the irritated skin and the dog stopped licking right away! And if animals do lick the Noni products, I know it won’t harm them, whereas if they lick a triple antibiotic or burn cream they will take in poisonous medication.”
You can get more of Dr. Harman and Priscilla’s perspectives in this article.

Another veterinarian, Dr. Adrienne Moore, who works with both large and small animals, uses Noni products to soothe skin irritations. “I have found Noni lotion to be more effective than any of the other concoctions used by my clients,” she says. “I recently had a case that almost completely resolved after using Noni lotion for just three days.”

Love your pets as they love you!

About the Author: Steve Frailey

My wife and I (Steve Frailey) moved to Kauai, Hawaii in 1982 from our organic farm in California. There were no roads, electricity, water or buildings but lots of Noni trees (Morinda Citrifolia) in our valley. We also developed a deep relationship with Noni that was growing all through our valley.  Today we run our Hawaiian Organic Noni farm, and share the gift of health with people throughout the world.
