Science is only just beginning to understand what Hawaiians have known for centuries – noni heals. The popularity of this superfood is growing, and it’s finally getting the recognition it deserves. Many people enjoy the benefits of our 100% organic noni fruit leathers, learning firsthand about noni’s incredible ability to heal from the inside out.
But did you know that noni can also heal from the outside in? Applying fresh, raw noni to the skin has different, yet equally powerful benefits to the body! But if you don’t live in Hawaii, you can’t get access to fresh noni fruit to rub on your skin, which is why we’ve created our line of noni products for topical use. We use our slow-dehydrated, organic noni fruit leathers to make all our lotions.
Our all-natural, organic lotions contain countless beneficial compounds. We’ve found that they are a powerful, non-toxic way to relieve pain from a variety of injuries.
Here’s some more detail about the four topical noni products we offer. We’ll share what’s in them, how to use them, and the amazing health benefits of each.
Lavender Noni Lotion
This is our classic formula, and the most gentle. All we add to the dried noni pulp is lavender, water, and grapefruit seed extract.
Grapefruit seed extract has many benefits for the skin. It’s high in antioxidants and bioflavonoids, and promotes skin healing. The soothing lavender scent is stress-relieving and calming, and may also help heal a variety of skin conditions.
This formula is powerful enough to deliver incredible healing and pain relief, but gentle enough to use even on open wounds. The beneficial compounds in the noni fruit penetrate deep into aching joints and bruises, to provide healing at the source of the problem.
We recommend using this lotion as a daily treatment: 2-3 times a day for minor skin complaints, and 4 or more times per day for severe conditions.
When used frequently, noni is a powerful part of healthy skin maintenance. In many cases, it improves the texture of skin for a more youthful appearance. It can also reduce scarring.
Icy Heat Noni Lotion
For this powerful pain-relieving lotion, we added camphor oil and pure menthol to our classic Lavender Noni formula. The camphor and menthol cause a warming, tingling sensation, which helps relieve pain and inflammation – especially when working alongside noni!
We recommend this formula for closed-skin ailments only. The camphor and menthol will cause painful stinging on open wounds or burned areas.
Rub it into aching joints and muscles for instant pain relief. It also works great for bruises, sprains, stiffness, and swelling. The formula has even been shown to prevent muscle fatigue and cramps. It’s great for a post-workout massage!
You can also use this formula for congestion – rub it on your chest and feel it go to work!
Icy Heat Sports Formula
We often get asked, “What’s the difference between the Icy Heat Lotion and the Icy Heat Sports Formula?”
Here’s your answer! The Sports Formula is enhanced with 1% more menthol and camphor – and that 1% is all you need for a dramatic difference. This lotion’s effects set in faster and stronger than our regular Icy Heat formula. We’ve also added a new and improved applicator tip so you can really target the source of your pain.
Use this lotion the same way you’d use our Icy Heat Lotion – on closed-skin wounds only.
Tip – try using it for a warm-up massage. The heat and tingling sensation will get your muscles ready to go to work, and may prevent muscle cramps.
Noni Bio Bandage
We were hearing so many stories of people using noni to make their own bio bandages that we decided to make a bio bandage formula ourselves!
A bio bandage is a pasty formula applied to a wounded area. The paste then hardens to protect the injury and to provide continued healing benefits.
Our bio bandage formula helps keep the beneficial noni in place, so injuries heal faster.
The formula contains noni, organic aloe juice, and oil of rosemary. Aloe juice is a powerful healing agent, and it also helps the bandage to adhere and solidify. Rosemary oil has some antimicrobial and antiseptic qualities, to help keep the wound clean. These two additives enhance the healing benefits of the noni fruit leather in the bio bandage – its main ingredient.
To use the Noni Bio Bandage, apply the compound in a thin layer on the wound. Use athletic tape or sports wrap to keep in place if necessary.
The Noni Bio Bandage speeds your recovery time and restores damaged tissue: muscle, skin, and bone. We recommend keeping a jar of Bio Bandage on hand, in case of more intense injuries. This gentle yet powerful formula is a must have for scrapes, sprains, and even fractures.
All four of our topical noni products are made with all organic, all natural ingredients, from noni fruit grown on our organic farm in Kauai. Noni is a powerful healing agent, as beneficial when applied to the skin as it is when eaten. Let noni start healing you from the outside in today.
